ALUMINIUM AND SEMI FRAMELESS GLASS BALUSTRADES
ALUMINIUM STAINLESS AND GLASS STAINLESS WIRE HOME
Where a modern, clean, and elegant barrier is required, aluminium and semi frameless glass is hard to beat.
Glass offers some wind protection with least obstruction to the view. We can do frameless glass as well.
Glass can be mounted to the front of a powder coated aluminium frame using stainless steel "buttons" or "patch fittings"
Clear glass is the most popular, although a range of tinted glass is available.
A range of glazing clips are available, as in the design shown, which has toughened green glass.

Balustrade designs can have traditional round horizontal rails or modern oval rail profiles. The glass is usually fixed into the rails using PVC glazing inserts
Balustrade with profiled aluminium posts and glass off-set to the inside using "spider fittings"
A popular, modern style with top rail only. This design provides a rigid structure with minimal obstruction of view. The glass in this internal balustrade is held by stainless steel glass clamps as opposed to the more usual rubbers in the posts.
Segmented glass in a curved balustrade
A combination of metal infill can be used vertically or horizontally with glass.
The timber top rail which matches the stairs has been fixed to the glass with stainless steel brackets.
Concealed fixings have been used on the bottoms of the posts to avoid base plates.
As an alternative design, the glass is fixed to the vertical posts using stainless steel "spider fittings" The side fixed design allows a maximimum usable width of the stairs.
